Awsome Ian!
Most excellent Ian. Have a good time
Hi Azziz and Prof Crash, or anyone else who might be knowledgable in Comics. My next door neighbor has some SF Underground comics from late 60s/early 70s, and he asked me to help him find a value for them. All are R. Crumb. All in decent shape (Not mint, but in tact, slightly yellowed from age, spine is splitting a bit at the top and bottom)
Mr. Natural Issue #1 and #2
Zap Comix Issue #4 and #5
R.I.P Snortin' Cocaine Comix #1
Anyone have a clue?
Thanks
Tell him to Check Wizard.com They have a comic book price guide available. Not sure if it is free or if you have to pay to use it though
If Wizard isn't free, I don't think it is, then you/he would have to purchase a price guide. You would need the actual book version, the magazine price guides deal with Mainstream and Current comics.
Off the top of my head, it's possible they are worth something, R. Crumb has a cult following. But just not sure. Sorry.
Thanks Ladies. I went to www.wizard.com and the address re-directed me to another site, strange. I looked up Ebay auctions (which aren't a true test, until after auction ends, since so many people bid at the last second these days), and looks like the Comix only by Crumb are worth about $20. ea, the earlier ones, where Crumb is only the illustrator (but not the writer) are the ones that seem to be going closer to $50.00.

Hey Sindatur, I can't post this at SFV since BMat closed the thread, but I wanted to tell you how disappointed I am that you're not the tanned, buffed-up and sitting-on-the-beach Californian that I pictured. Duuuuude.... Now I have to change my whole mental image of you.
Well now you should know, I'm less than four foot tall, and have grey tail feathers . How many owls you ever seen with tans, wether they happen to be wizards or not, LOL.

Got to meet Claudia Christian, Brent Spiner and Levar Burton today
Going back to the autograph/collectors fair tomorrow for more, if my bank account can stand it.
Saw tons of cool stuff I can't afford, like B5 paintings signed by ALL the main cast *drools*
?400 - eep!
Brent Spiner's hair is now completely gray, and Levar's is starting!!! Sheesh that makes me feel old
I'll post some pics sometime if I can.
Ian
Boldly going where many have been before....
